Fabryka Maszyn Budowlanych Famaba Glogowie SA (Famaba), established in Glogów (PL), is specialized in the fabrication of large steel constructions, comprising:
- Towers for on- and offshore wind turbines
- Secondary components for on- and offshore wind turbines
- Components for steel shipyard and overhead cranes, bridges, chimney stacks, telecommunication and phone mast constructions.
All steel constructions are produced using the same vision: “Offering the customer surplus value for their money, by delivering a highly finished quality product that meets every standard and expectation, in which Famaba can express its expertise in every phase of the project by actively pursuing collaboration with the customer.” Due to its flexible organisation structure and in-house production facilities Famaba can turn projects around quickly and guarantee short delivery times.
Production facilities
With a production area of 25,257m2 and the disposal of a modern and well-equipped machine park, completely aimed at the processing and surface treatment of steel, Famaba can realize production capacity levels of around 17,500 tonnes per year. Within the scope of manufacturing three-dimensional steel constructions, FAMABA is able to fabricate overall dimensions up to 4,000 x 4,000 x 14,000 (60,000) mm and max. weight up to approx. 60 t, using special tools or mounting plates.
Quality
Famaba meets the most recent quality requirements, which is effected by structural checking and measuring. The qualified personnel have all the necessary welding certificates at hand and meet the requirements acc. to DIN EN ISO 3834-2 issued by GSI SLV as well as welding steel construction acc. to DIN 18800-7:2008-11, Class E.

Shipping is realized in cooperation with sister company Spomasz Trans, this guarantees steel constructions are always delivered quickly and timely.
